Working Group 2 - Develop synergies with education

We are pleased to finally share our report “Training needs and recommendations for Citizen Science participants, facilitators and designers” with the community.

As there are different approaches for citizen science, there is a need to study options for consolidating and expanding the knowledge base for participation and learning in citizen science.

Dr Joseph Roche undertook a STSM in November 2017 and developed a research agenda around the role of citizen science in education.

A workshop was organised by WG 2 in Lisbon, Portugal to create an outline for a paper on synergies between citizen science and education.
