Aim

Continue and deepen work on the relationship between citizen science and policy; compare the different approaches throughout Europe with regard to strategies and platforms for Citizen Science.

Target

Targets of this workshop are to

  1. Reflect scientifically on the outcomes of the questionnaire on Citizen Science strategies and policies, and link it to the overview of citizen science in Europe;
  2. Develop operational resources for future re-use;
  3. Formulate policy recommendations; and
  4. Decide on the finalization of this work within the COST Action, the publication of the results, and possible hand-over (e.g. to ECSA (EU-Citizen.Science); JRC,…).

The organizing committee will assess the eligible contributions following these criteria:

  • Expertise relevant to this workshop (max. 5 score points).
  • Interest of the submitted contribution to the WG and Action goals (max. 5 score points)
